0:00 We talked about differentiating data between continuous and discrete data. There's another way we can break it down.
0:07 We can have quantitative data, which is numerical or qualitative data, which is sometimes called categorical data.
0:15 So quantitative data describes the quantity of things. When we talk about the height, something might be 1.5 m, or weight could be 20 lbs.
0:26 The price of an object could be $25, or time is measured in 60 seconds. Those are all quantitative numerical values.
0:37 Qualitative data would be something like the hair color is red or blonde, nationality. US, a car as a sedan or a pickup and a pet as a dog or cat.
